Platonic Light 柏拉圖 燈
Do the shape of lights, we’re all designers.
Platonic said everything can be returned to five solids.
This work used Platonic solid and Archimedean solid to combined paper cutting skills, and make paper cutting logical.
Paper cutting is perceptual, however, the skills of paper cutting is rational.
We combine China traditional art and western geometry to make new design.
Use the same components to create different lights is the biggest delight of owning a Cutting Light.

決定燈具的形體，我們都是設計師
柏拉圖將一切回歸五種正多面體；此作品以這五種柏拉圖正多面體與其發展出的阿基米德半面體為結構，結合東方剪紙技法的連續剪與套色，將剪紙透過模組與邏輯規則的形式呈現。
運用剪紙與摺紙技法的相輔，傳統技法與現代創作的完美結合，將燈具還原成一片片模組化的設計元件，經由不同的組合方式變化出獨特與邏輯兼具的形體。
模組化的元件創造客製化的燈具便是擁有Cutting Light最大的樂趣 。
